First pride flag is launched into space
A time-lapse video shows the first pride flag being sent into space, in a symbolic declaration of the universe as LGBTQ-friendly.
Planting Peace, a nonprofit organization focused on humanitarian aid and environmental initiatives, wrote on its website that it wants to create an understanding that all people deserve to live and love freely.
A high-altitude balloon captured video with a GoPro camera before the flag returned to earth three hours later.
