A homeless man has a new pair of shoes, thanks to a group of firefighters.

The Riverside Fire Department in California was on its way back from a training and noticed an older homeless man walking very slowly on the side of a highway overpass.

The man had no shoes, so firefighters pulled over their fire engine and helped the man. Firefighter David Gilstrap offered his tennis shoes, and another firefighter helped the man put them on and offered him some water.
