Military families are going to be the recipients of Christmas spirit thanks to farmers in Michigan.

One hundred volunteers bundled up 465 trees from Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Gobles, Michigan, Monday morning to send to military members and their families at Fort Knox and Fort Hood, WZZM reported.

Wahmohoff Farms has been holding the event each year since 2006, Michigan Live reported.

The farm is a partner of the Trees for Troops program, which was started in 2005.
