By Cox Media Group National Content Desk
Sept 11, 2016Nearly 3,000 people died on Sept. 11, 2001. Families of more than 1,000 of those who died still have no biological confirmation of death, according to New York’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Thousands of other people were injured.
And still, the American people are resilient.
Men and women who lost loved ones during the tragedy took to social media Sunday to honor friends and family who died on United Airlines Flight 93 and at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon fifteen years ago.
Others expressed gratitude that their loved ones had been fortunate to live through the event.
