Within a week of his online confession, Cordle was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. Cordle received a six-and-a-half year prison sentence and a lifetime suspension of his driver’s license.

A year later, Cordle has released a new video from inside prison. Cordle urges people to not drink and drive and think about the consequences of their actions.
