Marlborough, New Hampshire Police stopped a driver Monday afternoon who they said was using her phone, had a baby goat on her lap and didn't have a valid driver's license.
The traffic stop happened on Main Street.
Sergeant Zachary Byam, the officer who conducted the traffic stop, said the driver was a 60-year-old woman from Sullivan, New Hampshire. She was released on a citation for operating without a valid license.
Byam said he also counseled her about the distracted driving.
Police posted a notice on social media about the incident.
"I wish this was another April Fool's joke baaaht it's not," the police department joked on Facebook, followed by a warning about distracted driving, and they weren't kidding.
