School officials in Washington State are criticizing a bus driver's actions after she refused to let children open the windows on a day when temperatures topped 80 degrees.

"Maya passed out on the bus. It's too hot," the children can be heard saying on video.

"Okay, right now can you fan her?" the bus driver said.

In the video, the driver told the children that opening the windows would set off alarms.

An Everett school official said there is no rule against opening bus windows.

The driver was fired.
