Before he was two years old, Joe Martel III had both legs amputated, but that has not stopped him from doing what he loves..
Now a freshman at Beggs High School and using his prosthetic legs, Martel plays football for the junior varsity team. He has not stopped there, however.
He has also made plays for the varsity team and it may be a first.
Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association believes he’s the first double leg amputee to play high school football in the state
Loved meeting this incredible young man, and I'm so happy to get to tell his story. Make sure you watch FOX23 News at 9...
