CNN anchor Don Lemon pulled the plug on an interview when the guest veered from discussing presidential politics and instead repeatedly commented on former President Bill Clinton’s Oval Office offenses using graphic language.
Conservative commentator Kurt Schlichter began talking about Clinton's romantic involvements after he and Lemon discussed Donald Trump's recent comments about Hillary Clinton's "disgusting" bathroom use during the Democratic debate on Dec. 19.
“I just think it’s silly,” Schlichter said. “Look, he’s running against Hillary Clinton. He’s running against a sexual harasser and abuser’s enabler. I don’t know why we’re not talking about that.”
“Because it has nothing to do with what happened,” Lemon replied.
"This is the lowest of the low and it has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton," Lemon said after attempting to regain focus on Trump's comments. "Can we cut it off? Can we cut if off please?" Lemon asked his producers.
Schlichter later posted a tweet from a site blasting Lemon’s actions to the top of his Twitter page:
