The deceased dog reportedly had been hit by a car, and the Great Pyrenees apparently dragged him to the side of the road.

The Great Pyrenees was taken in by Dallas Animal Services. He did not have a collar or a microchip implant. If he is not claimed within 72 hours, he will be released to a special group focused on the rescue of Great Pyrenees dogs.
