The owners of a dog that was run over and killed in Nebraska said that the incident was not an accident and plan to take action.

According to WOWT, the Millers, from Fremont, Nebraska, said that their neighbor is to blame for the death of their pet dog, Tater.

Bryan and Carolyn Miller said they had had Tater since he was a puppy, and believe that their neighbor intentionally ran over the 2-year-old dog.

“She accelerated to a point that she not only hit him with the front tires, but she hit him with the back tires, also,” Bryan Miller told WOWT.

The Millers also claim that this was not an isolated incident, saying that the same neighbor has run over another neighbor’s cat in the past and has threatened to shoot their dogs.

Police are investigating the incident.
