Disney issues foot recognition patent to create ‘customized guest experience'

Aug 3, 2016Disney could soon use new technology to keep track of visitors inside its parks by scanning their feet.
According to a patent filed earlier this month, a machine would take a picture of guests’ feet and gather information about them, including the rides they go on while at the park.
A U.S. patent document said that the system and method using foot recognition is to “create a customized guest experience.”
There's no word on when the technology will be used.
