The search continues today for a 2-year-old boy who was grabbed by an alligator at the Seven Seas Lagoon near Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando.

Here are five facts to know about the Grand Floridian Resort:

1. The Grand Floridian is a luxury resort owned by Disney. It is one of three hotels on the monorail line, just one stop away from the Magic Kingdom.

2. The resort sits on the shores of the man-made Seven Seas Lagoon. The lake reaches a depth of 14 feet and connects to the adjacent Bay Lake. Swimming was originally allowed but has been since prohibited. There are "no swimming" signs posted at the lagoon.

3. There are two swimming pools - the courtyard pool with a water feature and the beach pool with a play area for kids.

4. The resort has 842 guest rooms which are located in the Grand Lobby or in one of the five lodge buildings of the resort.

5. The resort is part of the Florida Green Lodging Program. Green lodges are resorts that meet the standards of environmental responsibility, which conserve Florida's national resources.
