“Mean Girls,” adapted from the 2004 movie, has an opening night slated for April 8.

The production is written by Tina Fey, one of the original writers for the film, and Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, is in charge of the musical composition for the show.

A video posted on the official Mean Girls on Broadway Facebook page teases the show.

Lorne Michaels, who is best known as creator and executive producer of  “Saturday Night Live,” is the musical’s lead producer. He said the “Mean Girls” musical “characters are fuller” than those in the film.

“Mean Girls” will move to New York after a stint at the National Theater in Washington D.C. from Oct. 31 to Dec. 3.

Tickets are on sale now.

"The Devil Wears Prada," which was published as a book in 2003 and adapted for screenplay in 2006, will debut on Broadway "soon," according to Broadway.com, but there's no exact premiere date.

Elton John, who previously worked on “The Lion King” musical, is part of the team helping bring the show to the stage.

"Re-imagining 'The Devil Wears Prada' for the musical theater is super exciting," John said in a statement in January. "I'm a huge fan of both the book and the feature film, and a huge aficionado of the fashion world. I can's wait to sink my musical teeth into this hunk of popular culture."

A musical adaptation of "Devil Wears Prada" has reportedly been in the works since 2015.
