Authorities in Louisiana were trying to find a missing boy who reportedly vanished from a New Orleans playground over the weekend.

Update 1:11 p.m. EST Nov. 26: Derell Sylvester has been found safe. No other details were released by New Orleans Police, WDSU reported.

Original report: According to WDSU-TV, Derell Sylvester, 10, and some relatives were playing on Treme's Lafitte Greenway about 3 p.m. Sunday, New Orleans police said. Four hours later, the others went back home and realized that Sylvester had disappeared, the outlet reported. They then looked for him but could not find him, police said.

Sylvester's hair is brown and black, and his eyes are brown, WGNO-TV reported. The 4-foot-8, 120-pound boy was dressed in a yellow shirt with black pants and red shoes, authorities said.
