Marion County sheriff's deputies said the parents, Joyce Nieves and James Dieffenbacher, have a history of drug use, domestic violence and living in poor conditions.

Aryanna Nidia Robles-Nieves, 15, Totty Dieffenbacher-Nieves, 3, Aubriella Dieffenbacher-Nieves, 5, and Malachi Dieffenbacher-Nieves, 2, were last seen Nov. 17 by school officials and investigators with the Florida Department of Children and Families.

The family lived in Micanopy, a town about 100 miles northwest of Orlando.

It was not immediately clear where the children were staying before they were reported missing.

The children and their parents might be traveling in a 1999 Dodge four-door pickup truck bearing Florida tag GMAK91, authorities said.

Anyone who has seen the children or their parents is asked to call 911.

Deputies did not release any other details on the family's disappearance.
