The Denver Police Department wants you to know about an act of kindness above and beyond one of its officers main duties.

A mother and father were arguing about how to feed their four children and someone called police to report a disturbance, which sent Officer T.J. Young to the scene.
The department’s Facebook page says when Young found out what the problem was, he bought meals for the whole family and delivered the food to them.
