A Delta Airlines commercial flight was diverted to Tulsa Saturday afternoon.

Tulsa International Airport officials confirmed the landing. Tulsa police dispatchers said there are reports that 10-15 passengers got sick on board around the same time.

"The flight crew of Delta flight 1817 from Atlanta to Denver elected to divert to Tulsa when a few customers reported feeling ill. The safety and security of our customers is our top priority," Delta Airlines said in a statement.

There are two Emergency Medical Services Authority units as the scene. Responders are treating the situation as a medical issue at this time. The cause of the illness is not known.

The plane had 152 passengers and was heading to Denver from Atlanta.

A passenger told Fox23 that another plane would be sent from Atlanta to pick them up and continue the flight.
