Two Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies pulled a woman over for speeding when they realized her license was suspended and called a tow truck on May 15, WDJT-TV reported.
Dashcam video shows 23-year-old Kelvina D. Freeman putting her car in reverse, proceeding to hit the deputies’ car behind her and then speeding away from the scene.
Officers can be seen being hit and falling into traffic as Freeman quickly backs up. Another can be seen trying to hang onto the driver’s car door. The passenger who wasn’t in the car at the time, also got hit by a car door and got pushed to the side of the concrete wall. The passenger suffered for non-life-threatening injuries, according to WTMJ.
According to WTMJ-TV, Freeman was arrested last Wednesday and could face charges of first degree recklessly endangering safety, vehicle operator flee/elude officer, resisting or obstructing officer and criminal damage to property.
If convicted of all of the charges, Freeman could face up to 45 years in prison.
Both deputies suffered from non-life-threatening injuries, WTMJ reported.
