We're officially past the midway point on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," and another celebrity has fallen victim to the curse that has haunted other contestants.

You might remember McKellar as Winnie Cooper from "The Wonder Years." (Via ABC / "The Wonder Years")

And this injury really doesn't sound good for McKellar's future on the show.

Especially when you consider that a fractured rib can cause pain when breathing as well as severe pain in the injured area. (Via WebMD)

And it seems that McKellar's injury is putting a toll on the dancing duo. Chermokvskiy tweeted that it has been a "very very tough week" so far. (Via Twitter)

It's understandable. The couple scored a stellar 36 out of 40 for their cha-cha routine last week and the judges will be expecting them to pull out another spectacular performance in just two days. (Via ABC)

McKellar isn't the first celebrity to sustain an injury this season.

Injuries aren't uncommon in the ballroom. Many celebrities and their partners have danced through pain on the show having suffered broken toes, concussions and ruptured discs in their lower backs.

The show has even seen a rib injury before. New York Daily News notes TV host Maria Menounos danced with two broken ribs and a fractured foot during her season in 2012. Now that's commitment.

So, the question remains: Will we be seeing McKellar take the floor Monday night?

If the celeb's tweet is anything to go by, it seems we might be. McKellar says she's crossing her fingers that she'll be able to pull off her routine.
