A coyote in a west Chicago neighborhood is making quite a spectacle of himself, hanging out on a roof top.

The animal has been spotted around a home in the city's Austin neighborhood, and residents told ABC 7 that it likes to sit on the roof.

That’s not going over very well with neighbors, who are afraid the coyote will go after their dogs.

ABC 7 reported that animal control has been called to help catch the wily coyote.

Many urban areas across the U.S. have seen an uptick in coyote populations in recent years. The canines are usually afraid of people, but will venture into more populated areas to look for food.
