Cow escapes slaughterhouse only to be killed near a McDonald’s

A cow waiting to be slaughtered made a valliant escape effort before meeting its demise after travelling over a mile on city streets.

According to Cincinnati police, the cow escaped from Tri State Beef Company as employees were trying to corral it. The cow travelled west down city streets and later crossed the Western Hills Viaduct.

People used social media to share the progress of the cow.

The cow was killed with a rifle near a McDonald's.
