According to students attending Bolton High School in Tennessee, a ninth-grade female student was charging male students for sexual acts performed in a school bathroom.
Students, staff and the community are stunned by the allegations.
FOX 13 interviewed several students about the allegations. The students say up to 10 students may have been involved. One student said the ninth-grader in question is a special needs student, but this has not been verified by the school.
In regards to the female student charging for the sex acts, one student claimed that, "She was charging like she said if dudes were ugly he had to pay $5. And if he was fine he got it for free and there was dudes lined up outside the bathroom."
Shelby County Schools released the following statement about the incident:
“We are aware of the allegations regarding some students at Bolton High School being involved in sex acts on campus. Six students have been suspended for varying reasons as a result of the investigation. There have been no criminal charges in connection with the investigation.”
