Forget about the bagel and shmear, Einstein Bros Bagels are putting a little kick into our morning breakfast.
The chain introduced the Espresso Buzz Bagel, saying "every bite of our Espresso Buzz Bagel gives you a tasty dose of bold flavor, caffeine and one-of-a-kind benefits."
The new bagel has 32mg of caffeine, or about a third of an eight-ounce cup of coffee, along with 13 grams of protein, 6.5mg of iron and magnesium, CBS Los Angeles reported.
The company also introduced a Savory Parm Bagel and a Cherry Chia Bagel as part of its new line of Boosted Bagels.
