The United States Coast Guard is searching for a cruise ship passenger who fell from a Royal Caribbean vessel early Friday morning.
Officials say crew members aboard the Oasis of the Seas witnessed an unidentified 35-year-old man jump off the ship and quickly alerted the Coast Guard.
The harrowing ordeal appears to have been caught on camera. It showed a man clinging to a life boat. Several people can be seen trying to pull the man back aboard when he suddenly loses his grip and falls in while horrified witnesses scream.
A passenger posted a video on YouTube, but it was later removed from the site. The Sun Sentinel obtained video from the event [WARNING: graphic and disturbing]
According to an unnamed source, the man jumped from seventh floor of the ship and landed on the life boat before falling into the water.
