“American Sniper” widow, Taya Kyle, posted a heartfelt message dedicated to her late husband, Chris, to mark his birthday.

Kyle posted on Facebook that she celebrates her husband "with an ache in my heart and a gratitude beyond all gratitude."

She said though she is in pain over his death, she is also inspired by him.

The post was in honor of Chris Kyle’s birthday. He would have turned 42 on April 8.

The Navy SEAL was the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. He was shot and killed while volunteering to help a fellow veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder in 2013.
