A little girl is dead after her mother forgot her, leaving her behind in a locked car in Florida, police are saying.
According to the Panama City News Herald, Reagan Buckley was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot at an elementary school.
The 18-month-old's mother Jamie Buckley is a teacher at Cedar Grove Elementary. Police said she forgot her daughter was in the car when she arrived at the school for work between 7 and 7:30 a.m.
When she left for the day, police told the News Herald, she found Reagan still in her car seat.
The little girl was unresponsive when they arrived at 3:15 p.m.
Police have not said if charges will be filed.
