Roswell police officers were able to rescue a tiny Chihuahua from a hot car, after the dog got the attention of a passerby by barking.
According to a Facebook post by the Roswell Police Department, the dog that weighs less than two pounds was found barking inside a hot vehicle Sunday.

A good Samaritan heard the dog in distress and called police, who rescued the dog and gave it water until the owner returned.
The owner told police their family had gone to eat lunch.
But officers said the dog was dehydrated and losing strength, and the dog’s owner was charged with cruelty to animals.
This was the third dog Roswell police rescued in the past few weeks. Police took video of one distressed lab in the back seat of a car Tuesday and posted it on Facebook.
