Imagine hearing Chewbacca's yell every time you pick up the phone. A Virginia man is getting lots of calls just like that because of an online prank.
A recent Craigslist ad asked readers to call Blake Webb and deliver their best impression of Chewbacca from "Star Wars."
The ad promises the caller with the best impression will win 50 dollars.
Trouble is, Blake Webb never posted the ad.
He's never even seen "Star Wars".
Turns out his friends posted the ad as a prank.
"Most of the time they would just go hey is this the guy from Craigslist? And I was like what, and then they'd be like (*imitates Chewbacca*) and I was like Hello! They'd be like is that good? And I'd be like yeah that was pretty good. Alright my name is so and so dah, dah, dah..."
Webb's being a good sport about the prank, saying he'll keep the ad up until May the fourth ... which is "Star Wars Day" for fans of the movie series who greet each other with "May the fourth be with you."
He's also planning a revenge prank for his friends
