A sheriff's deputy noticed the bus was weaving across lanes, from fog line to fog line.  The deputy followed, lights and sirens activated, before the bus eventually came to a stop in the middle of the road.  The deputy drove ahead of the bus to warn other drivers about the oncoming danger, KFOR reported.

State troopers eventually deployed tire deflation sticks to slow the bus down.  It ended up in a shallow ditch alongside the road, KSTP reported.

Kids on the bus ranged in age from 6 to 14-years-old, KFOR reported.

Some called 911 on their cellphones during the ride.  Others called their parents.

There is no word on the driver's condition or what was the medical emergency.
