A Tacoma, Washington couple escaped one avalanche, then is confronted by a second wall of tumbling snow. It happened at the Big Four Ice Caves near Lake Stevens on Saturday.
Colby Dotson shot video of the second avalanche that almost trapped him, his girlfriend Ashley Bechard and another couple they were with.

"We heard the noise and she was like 'Avalanche!' turned and just started running," Dotson said. "I looked up and I felt just wind come across my face. And then I saw a bunch of snow starting to come down," he continued.
"My heart was beating, my mind was racing, if it was going to cover us," Dotson.
After an 11-year old girl was killed by falling ice 4 1/2 yearsago, warning signs advise not to get too close.
Dotson said about 20 people were around the caves, but no one was hurt.
"Time is short. Life is short get things done while you can and enjoy things while you can," Dotson said.
