Cardi B is making sure one of her signature phrases is protected by paperwork.
The Blast reported that the rapper has filed for a trademark of her phrase "Okurrr."
E! News reported that the filing was done March 11 under Cardi's company, Washpoppin Inc. The filing will trademark the phrase for Cardi's intended use for "paper goods, namely paper cups and posters." The Blast reported that the filing is for merchandising purposes.

According to E! News, there was an earlier filing for "Okurr" -- with one less "r," -- on Feb. 25. That filing was for "clothing, namely, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, pants, shorts, jackets, footwear, headgear, namely, hats and caps, blouses, bodysuits, dresses, jumpsuits, leggings, skirts, sweaters, undergarments."
For those unfamiliar with Cardi's phrase, she explained it in a 2018 appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
“You know, it’s like a cold pigeon in New York City. Okurr!”
