The front of the sedan crashed through a fence and became stuck under one of the four tracks at the Edison train station, the website reported.

A photo posted on Twitter showed half of the red sedan underneath the platform, while the other half stretched across the tracks, WNBC reported.

It was not immediately clear how the car came to rest under the station's eastbound platform, News12 New Jersey reported. No injuries were reported, the television station reported.

The car was removed later Wednesday morning and train service resumed, NJ.com reported.
