It's official: Michael John Kent and Fiona Newlands are getting married.
And after an exhaustive online search, they finally have the photo to prove their picturesque proposal in Iceland really happened.
Kent and Newlands were engaged on snowy streets in the city of Reykjavik. A passerby saw the special moment and asked to take a picture and offered to share it with the couple.
He searched the Internet constantly in hopes of finding the photo and eventually stumbled upon it on Instagram after asking about it on Twitter.
From Facebook Newswire:
"ONLINE SEARCH FOR ICELANDIC ENGAGEMENT PHOTO PAYS OFF: Michael John Kent and Fiona Newlands got engaged while holidaying in Iceland but were left dismayed when they gave the wrong contact details to a passer-by who had snapped an impromptu photograph of the proposal on a picturesque snow-covered street in Reykjavik. After an exhaustive search on social media, Kent finally got back in touch with JR Bowe who had posted the photo to Instagram."
