Lucas D'Onofrio, with a little help from nurses, family and friends, made the sterile hospital room into a romantic destination for the important question.

Bruzzo had decorated her room to celebrate the last treatment, but while she was gone, D'Onofrio quickly changed the theme from Hollywood to romance complete with candles, red petal path, and a bouquet of 100 roses he made himself, Buzzfeed reported.

Bruzzo, according to D'Onofrio's post, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in February.  She had undergone six sessions of chemotherapy.
