Luke Salmon, 15, has psoriasis and is bullied by other students who make fun of his flaky skin, the Gazette News reported.

He saw a post online for Roo, an 8-month-old Labrador-mix, from a breeder in Essex. Roo was born with a rare condition where she has four front paws in addition to two back ones.

When Luke and his mother, Lauren Salmon, went to pick Roo up, the dog jumped from her cage to Luke's arms.

"We absolutely love Roo to pieces. She's just a normal dog to us - just with a couple of extra bits," Salmon told the Gazette News. "Luke feels like the odd one out because of his condition, and now he's got a best friend to match. I think Roo will reduce Luke's stress and that should help his skin."
