A school bus driver in Pennsylvania made a gruesome discovery Thursday, finding a 7-year-old boy dead at a bus stop in Huntingdon County, according to state police.

The boy, whose name was not immediately released, was found around 7 a.m. by a Tyrone Area School District bus driver along Huntingdon Furnace Road in Franklin Township, authorities said.

The boy appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, according to police.

Investigators said the boy was found at a bus stop near his home. Authorities continue to investigate.
