Boy, 8, bitten by shark off North Carolina coast

How to Avoid a Shark Attack

An 8-year-old boy was bitten on the leg by a shark Sunday afternoon, officials said.

The boy was bitten around 4 p.m. and then taken to a hospital, WECT reported.

He is expected to make a full recovery.
