A Florida boy gave up birthday gifts to help his local animal shelter.
Brantley turned 6 years old on Dec. 9.
Instead of birthday gifts, Brantley asked everyone coming to his birthday party to bring supplies for the Baker County animal shelter.
His mom, Tiffany Davis, said he grew up around rescue animals.
Davis said he wants to continue to get donations for the shelter instead of gifts in the coming years.
"He's an amazing kid. He's also growing his hair to donate it," she said. "He gets made fun of constantly for it but he refuses to cut it until it's long enough. He's the sweetest soul."
