Boston Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet-Davis took to Twitter to complain that American Airlines lost her luggage while traveling this week, but it's what was inside that's making this more than just a normal missing baggage claim.

Haslet-Davis, a professional dancer, says the airline lost a piece of luggage which contained her prosthetic leg and dance equipment. She estimated the value to be over $250,000.

American Airlines responded promptly to the Twitter pleas, but Haslet-Davis became frustrated with the delay in finding her items, which are required for her to perform.  Her pleas to the airline went viral.

Friday morning, she received some good news from the airline.

But it turned out to be a false alarm.

American Airlines Spokesman Joshua Freed told the Associated Press that the airline is "terribly sorry" for losing the bag and is working to get it back to Haslet-Davis as soon as possible.

Haslet-Davis updated her followers to let them know she is ultimately happy with how American Airlines handled the situation.
