Bob Evans ready-to-eat beef stroganoff pasta is under a recall by BEF Foods Inc. in Lima, Ohio because it was produced without federal inspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The pasta items produced on May 3 subject to recall are:
- 18-ounce sealed plastic trays containing "Bob Evans Beef Stroganoff Pasta" with a use by date of 07/02/19 and a timestamp ranging between the hours of 15:00 and 18:37 on the tray seal. Also, it will have EST. M-46062 inside the USDA mark of inspection.
These items were shipped to retail locations in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Alabama and Georgia.
The problem was discovered when USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service personnel reviewed production records.
There have been no reports of adverse reactions to the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned should contact a healthcare provider.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. Either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
