The Blue Buffalo Dog Food Co. has voluntarily recalled a batch of its Life Protection Formula Dog Food after finding an excessive presence of moisture and mold in a batch.
The recall affects 30-pound bags of the Life Protection Formula Fish and Sweet Potato recipes with batch data "AH 2A 12:08-14:00." The bags have a best-by date of April 11, 2017.
The impacted food is limited to a single batch that was made during a two-hour period, according to officials.
Customers can return the problem product to the place of purchase for a refund.
