Drastic times call for drastic measures and a pharmacist in Redfield, South Dakota, knew what he had to do when an April blizzard slammed the region.

Hugh Mack didn’t let the horrendous conditions stop him from getting needed prescriptions to ailing customers.

He did what any South Dakotan would do for a neighbor. He jumped on his tractor and just drove into the severe weather to get the medicine delivered, according to KELO-TV.

This week’s blizzard slammed the Midwest and Plains, dumping 23 inches of snow on parts of six states, including South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Minnesota and Wyoming.
