Black Friday 2017: Macy’s ad released, hours announced; deals on clothes, housewares, appliances

Macy’s may have the upper hand when it comes to deals on Black Friday -- they are giving things away free.

Well, sort of. The retailer is offering a handful of deals on items that will come out as free to shoppers once they claim rebates. Examples are kitchen electronics, glassware, slippers and thermal tops.

Macy’s will open on Thanksgiving, as they have done before, from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. on Black Friday, then reopen at 6 a.m. Friday. Online deals will be available beginning on Thanksgiving.
