Black Friday 2015: JCPenney to open on Thanksgiving; final year for Disney snow globe giveaway

JCPenney said it will open its doors at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and will give away its popular Disney snow globes for the final time on Black Friday.
In a news release issued Wednesday, JCPenney said this will be the final year it will give away the miniature snow globes, which have been a Black Friday staple at the retailer’s stores since 2002.
JCPenney will pass out the globes at 3 p.m. on Black Friday, while supplies last.
According to the news release, Black Friday prices will be available on jcp.com all day on Thanksgiving, with all orders over $49 receiving free shipping.
Early Thanksgiving Day shoppers will be greeted with an envelope containing a coupon worth $10 off $10, $100 off $100 or $500 off a $500 or more purchase, while supplies last, according to the news release. These coupons are available for immediate redemption.
