Rojas, 28, is employed as a district safety officer for the Santa Ana Unified School District. He had been a volleyball coach at Century High School in Santa Ana for roughly eight years, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Police said Rojas would have the victims excused from class to allegedly have sex with him on campus.

The victims were reportedly between the ages of 15 and 17 at the time of the alleged crimes, which police believe started in 2015.

"He is basically a predator," Santa Ana Police Department Cpl. Anthony Bertagna told KABC. "He took advantage of his position. He went and got these girls out of class based on his position of trust and while at school he went to a location in the school where he had sexual encounters with these females."

Santa Ana police officials said Rojas confessed to the allegations. Rojas has since appeared in court, where he entered a not guilty plea, KABC reported.

He was booked in Orange County Jail on multiple sex charges and remains jailed in lieu of $1 million bail. Rojas has also been placed on administrative leave during the investigation.

Police are asking other possible victims to come forward, the Los Angeles Times reported.
