A 4-month-old baby was rescued from beneath piles of rubble Sunday left in the wake of a devastating earthquake that hit Nepal.
Soldiers from the Nepalese Army pulled the baby out from beneath the dust and debris after he was trapped there for 22 hours, according to Kathmandu Today.
The army rescue team worked until midnight Saturday to rescue the child, with no success. They came back the next morning unsure whether the boy had survived. They heard his cries and continued their efforts, finally pulling the baby to safety at 10 a.m. Sunday
