A man and woman were arrested and charged with a variety of drug-related infractions after selling crack cocaine to an undercover detective in a parking lot outside of police headquarters, officials said.

Winter Love, 28, and Devaughn Howard, 25, were arrested by the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Narcotics Unit Thursday.

Detectives, operating on information that Love was selling crack cocaine, arranged a meeting with her in the parking lot outside of police headquarters, according to the investigation. A man, later identified as Howard, called detectives to verify the deal.

Love and Howard arrived at the parking lot, and Love sold crack cocaine to an undercover detective, police said.

Their charges include delivery of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a communication device.

Both were taken into custody without incident and transported to jail.
