James' mother, LynnMarie Rink, was afraid she'd see her child severely hurt, WVEC reported.

But James was just a little disoriented and quickly started watching shoppers pass by.

What happened next is surprised LynnMarie.

Andrew Wall, a store employee, sat down on the floor next to them, asking how he could help.

Rink asked if she could complete her purchase for her son, but on the floor to keep James calm.

Wall agreed, getting the new gadget ready for James.

Wall then sat on the floor and showed James how to use his new tablet.

Rink said, "As a special needs parent, you don't know what you're going to encounter. Just meet me right where I am. Don't make me stand up or stand out. We know we're not normal, but we try to be. And he just sat on the floor with us."

Wall responded to Rink, "I began working at Apple in hopes of having fulfilling moments like this. My hopes are to work within the realm of youth counseling. Thanks again for making my day!"
