Just after Christmas, when January rent was due, an apartment complex notified every one of their tenants that their rent would be covered.
According to KSL, rent for all 38 units at Newpark Studios in Utah was paid by a generous donation by an anonymous person.
Monthly rent for the affordable housing unit usually runs anywhere from $527 to $709 per month.
The Park Record reports that most tenants are service industry workers and young adults.
